Organizing Topics

You can use the tree view to add, delete, reorder and re-parent the pages contained in your collection.
Expanding a sub tree
To expand a sub tree, you can either:
- Right click on the tree view node and select Expand All;
- Select the tree view node then click the Edit button and select Expand All; or

Select the tree view node then click on the Expand All button in the toolbar.
Collapsing a sub tree
To collapse a sub tree, you can either:
- Right click on the tree view node and select Collapse All;
- Select the tree view node then click the Edit button and select Collapse All; or

Select the tree view node then click on the Collapse All button in the toolbar.
Reordering and reparenting topics
To reorder a topic, select it and then use the appropriate arrow buttons above the treeview.

Move the topic up in the tree. Topics are reordered under the same parent. This topic will be positioned before it's original previous sibling. |

Move the topic down in the tree. Topics are reordered under the same parent. This topic will be positioned after it's original next sibling. |

Move the topic left (higher) in the tree. The topic will become the next sibling of it's previous parent. |

Move the topic right (lower) in the tree. The topic will become the last child of it's previous sibling. |
Once it is selected, you can reorder topics with the mouse button. To reorder a topic with your mouse, click on it with the left mouse button then drag and drop over the topic you want to move down.
Be carefull when using drag and drop because the tree view control swaps the files in real time. Make sure the whole subtree is visible when you reorder topics.
You can also re-parent topics with your mouse, click on the selected node in the treeview with the right mouse buttonthen drag and drop over the topic you want to become the new parent. The selected topic is moved as the last child of the new parent, which was the drop target.
